Yes, Our water is sourced from the Nicoya Peninsula of Costa Rica. A Blue Zone is one of five geographic regions where people live statistically longer and healthier lives than the rest of the world. The term “Blue Zone” was coined by author and researcher Dan Buettner (working alongside National Geographic), identifying areas that boast an unusually high concentration of centenarians who manage to stay active, sharp, and free of chronic illnesses well into old age.
Every can of Morpho water contains 92.8mg of calcium which is considerably higher than other brands. Standard North American spring waters have a very low mineral footprint. Morpho water contains nearly 12 times more calcium than the average US spring water. Even compared to municipal tap water, Morpho water is significantly more mineral-dense.
Morpho water has a TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) of 268ppm.
There is absolutely nothing added to Morpho water, just the natural occurring minerals such as calcium, magnesium and sodium are present. No. morpho water is untouched water from a natural spring, with nothing added or taken away. Because of our natural filtration of lava rock and Costa Rica’s pristine eco-system, Morpho is safe to drink out of the spring.
Purified water is municipal water or local tap water that has been treated to remove any impurities, a process that also strips the water of any and all mineral content and affects the pH level.
Not all water is the same. Depending upon the source, water contains different levels of minerals, dissolved solids and acidity, which directly affect its taste and benefits. Tap water varies significantly with the potential of environmental contaminants making their way into the water supply. To combat such contaminants, chlorine is often added which can affect taste.
